/ art portfolios
The archive of artists at the VVP AVU consists of collections of several artists' portfolios, specifically on contemporary Czech art. It was created in connection with the i-datum contemporary Czech art database project and it is expanding as part of the research project documenting Czech art from the 1980s to the present.
This segment of the archive not only focuses on textual documents, but also in bibliographic data and photo documentation of art works; a process that enhances an updated documented-informative consultation centre for professionals and the general public. The main aim of the archive is to provide a critical overview of contemporary Czech art and its distinctive development features.
