The BIBLIOBASE internet database of bibliographical information is an electronic catalogue of textual material relating to the history of Czech post-war fine art. It was created as part of the research plan Modern and Postmodern Art after 1945, overseen by the Academic Research Centre from 1999 to 2004 and is updated on an ongoing basis. It includes books, catalogues, articles, anthologies and unpublished texts relating to Czech visual culture of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The clear structure of the database provides basic bibliographic information regarding individual themes of Czech post-war culture. It provides practical, easily accessible information for study purposes.
It is possible to study materials listed as “stored in the AVU Research Centre text archive” in situ by prior arrangement.
