VVP AVU Research Centre is co-organising the international conference Transnational Artistic Relations in the Cold War Era, which will take place on 25 November 2026 at the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The conference focuses on transnational artistic relations during the Cold War period and is being organised in collaboration with the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Palacký University, Olomouc. Its content is primarily aimed at doctoral students and early-career researchers.
Proposals for papers, in the form of an abstract of 250–300 words accompanied by a short professional bio, may be submitted by 30 April 2026 to lujza.kotocova@avu.cz or jana.farskahajkova01@upol.cz. Notification of acceptance will be sent out by 15 June 2026.
