Mgr. Martin Škabraha, Ph.D.

Martin Škabraha studied history and philosophy at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in Olomouc, where his thesis focused on theories of modernity. He has lectured at the University of Ostrava, Palacký University in Olomouc and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He has authored and edited several collective monographs on political theory, cultural studies and the philosophy of science. He has independently published a collection of essays entitled Sokrates vrací úder (2015) and the monograph Expelled to Paradise: Terrence Malick’s Last Man (2015). He has also published in Salon Práva, A2 and Literární noviny. He is a member of the editorial board of the periodical Sedmá generace.
